Biography
Kenneth Johnson is a physical therapist with more than 15 years of experience working with patients. His clinical expertise includes orthopaedic rehabilitation with emphasis on hip, knee and foot/ankle injuries. In particular, Ken has a strong clinical interest in sports related rehabilitation and technology-assisted rehabilitation, including: Surface Electromyography High Speed Motion Capture/Biomechanics with Gait/Running Rehabilitation Ultrasound Imaging Posturography and Balance
Research Interest
Ken's primary role is the management of Johns Hopkins outpatient physical therapy services at the Johns Hopkins Green Spring Station location. This involves overseeing a team of more than 15 physical and occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists. He has been a member of the APTA Foundation for Physical Therapy (Scientific Advisory Council), the American Physical Therapy Association, and volunteers with V-Linc, volunteers for medical engineering (board member).
