Sports Medicine-2015

Dr. Jennifer Seyler from Illinois Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, USA presented on “Translating and promoting scientific findings: Getting the attention of your audience”; Dr. Paulo Marchetti of Methodist University of Piracicaba, Brazil enlightened the audience with his presentation “Analysis of the back squat with and without knee wraps”; Dr. Kaukab Azeem from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Saudi Arabia elucidated on “The influence of resistance training on health and some selected physical variables among college males”; Dr. Maureen J Simmonds from University of Texas, USA described about “The science of pain and movement”; Dr. Salaheddin Sharif from The University of Benghazi, Libya explained about the “Pre-competition medical assessment of athletes experience in Libya”, Dr.Abdulaziz Almustafa from University of Dammam, Saudi Arabia gave the presentation on the “Studying movement reorganization when learning a whole-body action: Example of learning a constrained gait pattern”; Dr. Zsuzsanna Kneffel from Qatar University presented on “The effectiveness of a ten-week exercise intervention to reduce cardiovascular risk factors amongst young male Qatari adults”; Dr. Ruben Goebel from Qatar University enlightened the audience with his presentation entitled “Impact of Ramadan on recovery-stress states of female professional basketball players”; Dr. Paul Sung from University of Scranton gave a paper presentation on “Kinematic characteristic of postural stability during one leg standing in athletes” and Dr. Alex Martusiewicz from Northwestern Memorial Hospital, USA presented about the “Partial thickness rotator cuff tears: Trans-rotator interval repair technique for PASTA lesions”. Dr. Abdussalam Kanniyan from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Saudi Arabiahas gave a lecture on the Effect of hypoxic training and pilates training on selected bio motor and skill related variables of university level soccer players.
Dr. Trent Nessler, CEO, ACL, LLC, USA conducted a workshop on “Using the science to improve movement in the athlete” on March 25, 2015, in connection with this conference as a curtain raiser to this topic.
Dr. Kaukab Azeem from King Fahad University of Pertoleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia conducted a workshop on "Training on Muscular Strength"
Dr. Ruben Goebel, Lina Majed, Zsuzsanna Kneffel, Qatar University, Qatar conducted a symposium on "Exercise Prevention of Health Risks: Lessons from the Sport Science field and potential applications in Qatar"
Dr Salaheddin Sharif from University of Benghazi, Libya organized a symposium on "Basic & Update of Exercise Stress Test"
