Title: Quality of Life after Spinal Cord Injury- qualitative research of elite athlete
Biography:

Agata Goraczko, PhD student, Physiotherapist, Founder of Foundation "We walk for", is working in Clinic of Neurorehabilitation in Wroclaw. She has many years of experience in the field of neurorehabilitation, especially with patients after spinal cord injury and brain injury. She conducts research with top athletes who ended their careers as a result of spinal cord injury. Agata's passion is to find hope in each situation and help people to broaden their perspective and possibilities. As co-founder of foundation, every year she and her friend organize charity expeditions- they walk for people who cannot walk.

Dovile Kiele received his Ph.D. in Biology from the Lithuanan Sports University in 2020. She has 10 years’ experience as a lecturer and researcher in Physiotherapy field. Her research area is physiological aspects of physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Researches data reveal changes in physiological parameters during rehabilitation. Understanding neuromuscular dysfunction after lesions enhances theoretical knowledge and allows for more effective modification of rehabilitation programs. The findings of the studies will be useful to rehabilitation practitioners at various stages of patient treatment.

He has studied the relationship between physical fitness and academic performance of students, and the learning performance of students with better physical fitness in school. In recent years, attention has been paid to exploring the impact of exercise on cognitive function from the perspective of neuroscience and endocrinology

Hanan Alsaif is a current PhD candidate at the University of Manchester, completed her Master of since degree in 2012 at Manchester Metropolitan University. She is working as a senior physiotherapist/supervisor at king Fahd military medical complex in Saudi Arabia. She has published a paper in the Physical Therapy Reviews journals.

Luqman Ali has completed his BSc in Biomedical Sciences at the age of 22 years from the University of Manchester and has begun studying for his MBchB at Anglia Ruskin University in 2019. He undertook his dissertation on the impact of exercise on the body and focused with great attention on immunology. He completed his final year project as part of his BSc, focusing on pedagogical approaches and epigenetics on Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Apart from his academic studies, he has worked as PASS mentor, BLS instructor, captained his University football team at a national medic’s football tournament and has been nominated by his peers as a Student Representative of the year.
